‘Very remorseful’ Rachele speaks out over shock axing

Out-of-favour Crows forward Josh Rachele has addressed his shock omission from the final round of the season.
Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks insists the decision to drop Rachele for tomorrow’s clash in Sydney was not purely for his inflammatory actions during last week’s Showdown, in which he referenced his own controversial comment. that Port fans have no teeth.

Adding to the controversy, Rachele liked an Instagram comment suggesting he quit the club.
He says it was inadvertent.
“That was an accident, I was actually on my own Instagram feed and a few people were liking good things, and I wanted to like that, and it was actually the one underneath, it was an honest mistake.”
Rachele is contracted with the Crows until 2029 and the 21-year-old insists he’s committed to West Lakes for the long term.
